About Katie

Katie is a Qualified and Registered Play Therapist with the Australasian Pacific Play Therapy Association. Prior to becoming a Play Therapist, Katie taught in kindergartens and has over 13 years of teaching experience in Australia and overseas. Katie also has a background in family support work and over 10 years of experience working in community development work with local and State government departments. These experiences have given Katie the opportunity to work with a variety of people from diverse backgrounds and have provided her with greater insight and understanding of cultural differences and individual needs.

Katie has a passion for supporting children’s social and emotional wellbeing and helping them and their families reach their potential.
